SAN JOSE, Antique – A barangay captainand four other persons were arrested for violating enhanced communityquarantine orders at a warehouse in Barangay Centro Norte, Culasi Antique. *Julius Eric Tamba, village chief ofBarangay Jalandoni, Culasi*Avelino Bermudez, tricycle driver of Barangay Jalandoni*Llyod Eric Salazar, PUV driver of Barangay Jalandoni*Rafael Cabangon, tricycle driver of Barangay Centro Norte *Frenz Roy Lomugdang, of Barangay Fe anddriver of the mayor.According to Alamo, the mayor sent him text messages requesting police to checkhis warehouse after the latter received reports that his driver, who wascelebrating his birthday, and some outsiders were having a drinking spree thereon April 12. “I hope that today’s arrest will serveas an example or warning to other people in this town who are still stubborn.”Alamo said.The violators were detained in the lockup cell of the Culasi municipal policestation.
