First trade incentives for Carnival

first_imgCarnival Cruise Lines has commenced their first ever trade incentives to encourage agent training and bookings for Carnival Spirit.From October 2012, Carnival Spirit will set sail from Sydney to the Pacific Islands or from Sydney and Melbourne to Australia’s coastline, or New Zealand, and will be the first Carnival Cruise Lines ship to home port in Australia year-round.Below are details of the new incentives starting this week. The total prize pool is up to A$5,000 and individual prizes are an A$20 iTunes voucher and/or A$50 iTunes voucher.1. Training IncentiveThe training incentive commences at 9am (AEST) on Monday 30 May 2011 and closes at 5pm (AEST) on Friday 10 June 2011 To take part, entrants are simply required to complete the Carnival Spirit Training Module OR attend a Carnival Spirit webinar on 7 June 2011 or 8 June 2011. Entrants are then required to correctly answer all questions in a short quiz and creatively answer a question in 25 words or less. Entrants may only win one prize for completion of this component.PrizesEntrants who successfully complete the training component OR attend the webinar will be eligible to win one A$20 iTunes voucher in a total prize pool of up to A$5000 worth. Prizes will be awarded based on the completion of details, successful completion of all questions and the creative flair of responses to the 25 words or less question.2. Booking IncentiveThe booking incentive commences at 9am on Monday 30 May 2011 and closes at 5pm (AEST) on Friday 24 June 2011. To take part, entrants are required to make a valid booking via POLAR Online on Carnival Spirit between 30 May 2011 and 24 June 2011. Only fully deposited bookings will qualify and the Promoter reserves the right to request the booking reference or any other means of verification. Entrants are then required to creatively answer a question in 25 words or less. PrizesEntrants who make a valid, fully deposited booking on Carnival Spirit via POLAR Online between 30 May 2011 and 24 June 2011 will be eligible to win one A$50 iTunes voucher in a total prize pool of up to A$5000. Prizes will be awarded based on completion of details and the creative flair of responses to the 25 words or less question. The winners of both promotions will be decided on 1 July at 5pm (AEST). Winners will be contacted via post. Entry for both promotions is open to Australian and New Zealand retail or wholesale travel agents, aged 18 years and over.
